Beate Mayer
For very many years I have been involved with patchwork and fabrics, I have led the quilting group in Pliezhausen for more than 20 years, with various courses in adult education and with children. Publications in the magazine Pachtwork Idee, workshops in the fields of textile design, also the organization with well-known textile artists worldwide, I have organized with much commitment and pleasure.
Through these various influences and stimuli, I have developed more and more into the free and modern of textile work.
My last seminar visits at the Free Art Academy Nürtingen and the Art School Tübingen were cut short due to COVID-19.
In the group TeXperiment Heilbronn I can continue to live out my textile ideas.
